Colostrum is the first form of milk produced by mammals immediately following childbirth. Commonly called “liquid gold,” it has antibodies, growth factors, and nutrients specifically designed to support the development of a newborn’s gut microbiome and immune system. Colostrum naturally has immunoglobulins (like IgG and IgA) that promote overall bodily and immune system health, as well as proteins, fats, vitamins and minerals to nourish the body. We use bovine colostrum in our Colostrum supplement because it’s similar in composition to human colostrum, but contains a higher concentration of immunoglobulin IgG and can provide benefits for gut health, healthy immune system support†, and overall wellness.

Lactoferrin is a naturally occurring protein found in milk and other bodily fluids, like saliva and tears. It plays a key role in supporting the immune system by binding to iron, which helps to promote microbial balance (the balance of “good” bacteria vs. the “bad” bacteria). This gives lactoferrin inherent microbial-balancing properties, helping your body remain resilient.
